I live a very normal life, I have a job, a house, a mortgage too
I have two kids, a dog, a wife, like many other people do
I love my job I do it well, My boss he doesn’t care
He doesn’t know that I make sure, to always get my share
I love my mother so so much, I put her in a home
I sold her house and with the money, took a trip to Rome
I don’t know what you want from me we are a normal family
There is really nothing wrong with us
You are looking through a crooked glass
My children’s future is no joke, I want their life to be secure
I took their college money to the track, I know I’m gonna win for sure
You know I really love my wife, I like to help her it’s no crime
Instead of asking her for sex, I cheat on her from time to time
When get home just to unwind, I drink and slap my wife
And when I’m board late in the night, my daughter likes it rough
I drink and gamble, lie and cheat
I rape and steel, sometimes I hit

Songs of longing songs of voyage, singing rock and blues and punk
Sing me something full of meaning, let me have some food for thought
Like the songs that we grew up on, pure life lessons they have taught
To some people music isn’t simple, cause it coming from within
It’s my prison it’s my calling, and it’s not the color green
Ever since I can remember, music was my soul
Mama says I trashed her records, when I was only two years old
All you hear today is pictures, all the sound is video
All the songs routine and shallow, all the music is just for show
